Vivelle-Dot estrogen therapy may be suitable for a variety of patient types. Below are examples of patient types who could benefit from transdermal estrogen therapy with Vivelle-Dot. These cases do not describe actual patients.

Female age 52. Vaginal hysterectomy at 48. BMI 20. No cardiovascular history. BP 120/85. Experiencing severe hot flashes and night sweats. No contraindications to estrogen therapy and favorable family history.

Female age 50. Complete (total) abdominal hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy at 48. Diagnosed with osteoporosis. No history of stroke or cardiovascular disease.
